BloodChess is the reimagining of chess with the intent to bring out the inherent brutality of the game.

For Mac Users:

After downloading and unzipping the game, you may see a "damaged" error when trying to open it. This is normal for unsigned apps! Here's how to fix it:

1. Open Terminal (found in Applications/Utilities)
2. Type: xattr -cr (with a space at the end)
3. Drag the game app from Finder into the Terminal window
4. Press Enter
5. The game should now open without issues!

For Windows Users:

If you see "Windows protected your PC" when trying to run the game:

1. Click "More info" in the warning dialog
2. Click "Run anyway"
3. The game will start normally

Note: These security warnings are normal for indie games and don't mean the game is actually harmful - they appear because the game isn't digitally signed by a recognized publisher.
